Boundless Playgrounds provides leadership, training, and technical and support services to promote play environments that are barrier-free and provide children of all abilities with developmental advantages. Copenhagen Consensus: Copenhagen Consensus is based on the aim to improve prioritization of limited means. The world is faced with a countless number of challenges such as diseases, environmental degradation, armed conflicts and financial instability. Copenhagen Consensus takes a new and critical-analytical approach to assessing the effects of international opportunities for solving the challenges.
Ten challenges representing some of the world's biggest concerns were identified. Ten specialists each prepared a background paper on a challenge within their field of research in order to provide the experts with the best and most recent information. May 24-28, 2004, nine outstanding economic experts gathered in Copenhagen to discuss, analyze and rank the opportunities corresponding to each challenge.
Combating HIV/AIDS was chosen as the world's top priority. About 28 million cases could be prevented by 2010. The cost would be $27 billion, with benefits almost forty times as high. The complete results of the experts' analysis are now available on their web site.
